Company Profile: Radix Marine is a marine vessel development company specializing in port security and defense initiatives.

Objective: Hoping to attract national and international interest, Radix Marine wanted a logo that suggested their company's vision; to be the premier choice for coastal defense as a builder of marine craft designed to fulfill a variety of port and homeland security.

Design & Color Theory: One approach involved combining a type based logo with a radar element. But this felt limiting as to the marine craft Radix built. Our solution was an alternative approach to a more corporate looking logo that encompassed all of the craft by focusing more on the marine aspect of the company. The blue-green color to represent water and a slant added to indicate movement. A silver "wave" was added to visually capture the high-tech craft Radix Marine builds while also suggesting the flexibility in design of the crafts they build. The final logo prompts several associations with technology, speed, power and water.

The design of the sales sheets used color and photography to visually power the design. Other promotional items and give-aways helped brand the image, especially to those who are showing interest in the vessels.
