
Company Profile: Heating, cooling, refrigeration installation, service and repair.
Objective: Mark Air needed a logo that showed flexibility in services and stability in the company. After creating the logo and corporate identity, postcards, doorhangers, forms, ads and vehicle graphics were needed.
Slogan: As a provider of heating and cooling - and a name like Mark Air - the slogan came to be "We make service a breeze!". This slogan plays on the company's name and industry as well as the efficiency and quality behind Mark Air's services.
Design & Color Theory: Using the client's name as a starting point, a "check-mark" concept was pursued, acting as a sense of completion, checking this off a list so to speak. As we further reworked the design, another version emerged revolving around the flow of air. The final swashy suggestion of airflow balances the clean, crisp logotype and illustrates the company's services. Smooth letterforms of Helvetica provide a contrast to the brush drawn airflow. A sophisticated slate blue and black color combination finishes out the look. Alternatively, a blue to red gradient is used for expressing cool to hot air and mainly utilized for marketing the heating services Mark Air offers.
In collateral materials a series of speech bubbles with common service questions and issues were used. This was effective in grabbing the attention of someone that was looking for service suddenly sees their same problem right in the ad. |
