Company Profile: John's Lawn & Rock provides lawn, rock and irrigation services.

Objective: A local area landscaper allowed us little creative freedom with his image. The overall goal was to keep it friendly and add in a little high-energy, both attributes of John himself. The immediate need was for business cards and a promotional door hanger as a leave behind in area neighborhoods.

Design & Color Theory: Rather than just concentrating on a logo design itself, a whimsical caricature performing various lawn, garden and rock activities was utilized. We then design the business card and promotional piece like a little yard scene. Bright green and blue were chosen as obvious nature inspired colors but purposely bold enough to draw attention. We also created removable magnetic signage for the company’s truck fleet and trailers.
