Edge Communications

Company Profile: A Community and Government Relations agency, connecting ideas to action.

Objective: A public relations agency dedicated to communications between community and government entities, wanted a punchy, yet professional approach to their consulting services. The concept we worked with revolved around the idea of bringing people and ideas together.

Design & Color Theory: We focused on the mark and placed a secondary emphasis on the logotype. The mark is an “e” and “c” that appear to join or connect, providing an interactive quality, presenting a sort of visual puzzle to the viewer. To reinforce the company name, the logotype appears at the "edge" of the paper throughout the corporate identity and most collateral materials. We chose a bright lime green and coordinating darker green as the color scheme.

The front image on the company folio is a hand reaching for a phone - a "call to action" if you will, and in the middle a group of business people in discussion - a "meeting of minds and ideas" convey photographically the tagline; which reversed out of the green, demands the most attention, "ideas to action." Different aspects of business that Edge Communications is involved in is inside the folio along with services, tips and other useful information.
